Municipal Corporation and State Government can do a few small but easy things which will have very big impact on the life of common people like me.
Things I think should be made available to common people, right now & here.
I believe sincere (not serious) authorities will execute this with excellence.
1. Open Science to all. ( Dear Mr CM please respond here)
Scientific Papers / publications, information and knowledge of inventions / innovations / discoveries (except defense science) should be made available to all for free.
Presently new scientific discoveries / inventions / innovations are hidden from common man (except which comes in market to make money), even subscription of a small scientific publication is beyond reach of a common man.
CSIR works a bit for this but its like a drop in an ocean.
Doing this will accelerate a chain reaction of generating the new ideas among youths.
Many big inventions were sometimes an idea of the inventor in their youth only, which they realized in their later age.
2. Prepare Legal documents in easy language. ( Dear Mr CM please respond here)
So it is understand by common people, no tough words just simple common Hindi and/or regional language.
This will ease up life of common people those who can not read and understand legal documents.
Government-public synergy will also achieve mutual trust.
3. We need Solar scientists. ( Dear Mr CM please respond here)
All engineering colleges must be asked to carry a branch dedicated to solar engineering and/or unconventional energy sources.
Production and sale of 'Solar Panel' (solar panel is basic unit of solar energy production) should be tax free, highly subsidized and incentives should be given, initially for 20 years at least.
This will light the villages where electricity has not reached and also reduce the electricity bill where electricity has reached.
4. We want innovation / inventions in Electrical Engineering field. ( Dear Mr CM please respond here)
So that electricity bill and maintenance cost of equipment is reduced significantly for common peoples.
For example: - An AC first cools 40 degree hot air up to 2 degree to take out atmospheric water and then heat up this cool air up-to 24 degree for proper AC effect.
This process consumes double energy.
Direct cooling of 40 degree hot air to 24 degree air will save 70% energy and electricity bill. To heat the cool air in winter 400 watt induction heater can be used instead of 2000 watt heater presently used in AC. It will reduce AC electricity bill by 80% in winter.
Semiconductors can replace heavy transformers.
Transformers require crane and a team of 5-8 people to mount on pillars as they are very heavy, and eat lots of electricity and oil. Transformer maintenance is very expensive. Semiconductors are able alternative of transformers.
It comes in suitcase, one man is enough to install, no crane required, no big maintenance as it will not eat much electricity and oil, very less operating cost.
New locally developed technologies in electrical engineering may open a Pandora Box of opportunities.
5. Use of LED lamps for domestic and industrial lighting. ( Dear Mayor & CM please respond here)
It should be made mandatory as it consume 15 to 20 times less electricity for same amount of lighting.
Production and sale of LED lights should be tax free.
Initial cost of installation of LED light is 4-8 times higher than conventional lighting but operating cost is 3 to 4 times less than the conventional lights.
Cost of installation will reduce signifantaly and will be at par with conventional lights when use of LED light is made compulsory.
It will reduce approximately 7% to 12% consumption of total energy in a state, fairly enough to absorb peak hours during summer and festival time.
6. Sport should be a subject, both practical and theory. ( Dear Mayor & CM please respond here)
In each school/collage students must have marks of sport in their mark sheet.
Those who are good in practical may become players and those who are good in theory can become coach / expert / strategist of game.
It will increase awareness of youth toward sports and its importance in their life.
Health, Happiness and spirit of human will prevail.
7. Natural Garden and Park should be provided to common people. ( Dear Mayor & CM please respond here)
For each 1000 children one acre natural park / garden should be developed by local government.
For a town of 1 millions (10 lacs) population approximately 300 acres of land is required in this segments, its already available in each town.
It will have lots of positive impacts on society.
Micro weather will improve, local pollution will come down.
Tree, flowers, birds entire ambiance will enlighten common citizens.
8. Purchase of one Bicycle with each motorcycle purchased and two Bicycles with each car purchased should be made mandatory. ( Dear Mayor & CM please respond here)
It will provide a chance to Motorcycle, Car owners and family members to ride cycle for shorter / longer distances.
It will save petrol and parking problem will be under control.
9. Use of Round vessels (Ghada, Kalsha, Tamhedi etc) for kitchen and drinking water storage should be promoted through media and social workers. ( Dear Mayor & CM please respond here)
Water stored in round shape vessels is not dead water and have lots of energy in it.
This is scientifically proven.
It’s like drinking three liter energy drink daily by each member of the family (either poor or rich).
This energy drink will keep them healthy and reduce burden on over worked hospitals.
10. Doctrine of Morality (No mix of all religious teaching) should be taught in each grade, from grade one to post graduate and above. ( Dear Mayor & CM please respond here)
Each grade must have a well defined syllabus supported by books and exercising schedule.
Failing in this subject should restrict promotion to next grade; award of degree to such students should be postponed till they clear this exam.
It will purify conscious of each common person since childhood itself; so that they keep distances with corruption and evils and lead a peaceful life.
11. Class 1st to 8th and 9th to 12th timing of school should be restricted to less than 4 hours and 5 hours respectively. ( Dear Mayor & CM please respond here)
Less lengthy subjects can be covered on alternate days; homework period should be given in school itself.
It will provide ample time to children to enjoy other activities like sports, music, drama, outing, adventure etc.
Children can workout and groom their hobby as a serious game and may build their career in that field.
it will also help society to have all kind of experts and will ignite knowledge exponentially.
12. Motion Sensors Alarms should be tax free and highly subsidized for the use of surveillance to prevent burglary, theft and illegal trace passing in private - public premises including homes. ( Dear Mayor & CM please respond here)
It will reduce crime, allow common man to leave home without fear and enjoy holiday at outstation.
Feeling of Safety and Security among citizen will boost tourism also.
