JABALPUR - A home of three best things of world. Part 1:- Narmada Bana-Lingam (one kind of Shiv Linga)

Jabalpur is a home of few unique things of world, I know three powerful, beautiful and amazing things which are not found anywhere else in the world, one of them is :--

Narmada Bana lingam (One kind of Shiva Lingam) - A most Sacred Symbol and Divine Energy Tool, both in the Sanatan (ancient) and in present modern world. The Bana-Lingam are Swayambhu Shiva Lingas that have taken shape in the Sacred Narmada River, in the Central Western part of India. This is why the Bana-Lingams are also known as the Narmada Bana-Lingam or Narmadeshwar Shiva Lingam.   Scientifically it is the considered view of many researchers and geologists that the unique composition of the Narmadha Bana-Lingam was due to the impregnation of it’s rocky river-sides and the rocks in the river bed, 14 million years ago by a large meteorite that crashed into the Narmada River. The fusion of the Meteorite and the Earthly Minerals has spawned a new and unique type of Crystalline Rock with EXTRAORDINARY ENERGETIC QUALITIES - the Narmada Bana-Lingam.      The Bana-Lingam contain Crypto Crystalline Quartz (masses made up of either fibrous or granular aggregates of tiny, microscopic Quartz Crystals) and a Gemstone material called Chalcedony (with an iron oxide and geothite inclusion) along with Basalt and Agate. This unique composition coupled with Elliptical Shape has a precise resonance in alignment with our Energy Centers or Chakras and are used for thousands of years as Divine Energy Generators for Cleansing, Healing and for Meditation. The Narmada Bana-Lingas are quite strong and the hardness is a 7 on the Moe’s Scale, one of the highest frequency vibration rates of all stones on earth. The vibration of Bana-linga is said to be perfect for purification purpose.   The Narmadha Bana Lingas became very famous throughout the western world, after the film “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom” was screened : this is the very same Sacred Stone that they were searching for.

JABALPUR - A home of three best things of world. Part 2:- Rani Durgavati Fort - World's Smallest Fort

Jabalpur is a home of few unique things of world, I know three powerful, beautiful and amazing things which are not found anywhere else in the world, one of them is Rani Durgavati fort:--

Rani Durgavati Fort, also known as Madan Mahal fort, is World's Smallest Fort. This three room 1680 square feet fort is based over a single granite rock in south west of the Jabalpur city and can be seen from most of the part of the modern Jabalpur city.   Rani Durgavati fort is situated on a small hill at the height of 515 meters, this 900 years old golden heritage of GOND ruler was built by Raja Madan Singh, 10th king of GOND rein and son of martyr queen Rani Durgavati - she sacrificed her life fighting with mughals. Madan Mahal fort was built in 1116 CE and was used as a outer watch post to raise alarm in case of any enemy attack on the city.   Though not an architectural marvel but a complete fort with a small water reservoir, recreation chamber, war rooms and stable will delight visitors. Madan Mahal fort is symbol of honor and courage of martyr queen Rani Durgavati and powerful Gond rule.    Hill of Madan Mahal fort has a natural Balancing Rock also on the way to the fort. Second smallest fort is in Romania, which is bit larger than Madan Mahal fort.
